About Us
At Bluegrass Fur Babies, we strive to connect Fur Babies with their FOREVER Families. We are a family that LOVES dogs and adores puppies.
All of the puppies that we offer for adoption have passed a health and wellness check by our local Veterinarian who is a small animal specialist. The puppies are all up to date on their vaccinations and routine de-wormings. Our puppies live in our home with our family and adult dogs along with being socialized with children. They have all begun the process of crate training, sleeping in their crate all night, and are making great progress with house training. They have our half acre fenced back yard to run, play, and enjoy the sunshine in.
We welcome phone calls, texts, and video calls to help you find the perfect furry companion for your family - we love matching pups with their perfect families! References provided upon request.
Nationwide delivery available through Independent Pet Taxi service, service paid for by the buyer.

When we use treats for training, we use small bites of cooked, unseasoned chicken breast. Frozen blueberries are also a great option!
If you buy treats, you want them to be free of chemicals, corn, wheat, and soy.
-
Your puppy will have had its first two puppy Parvovirus vaccinations (the puppy is old enough for the first 2 when you adopt it) along with routine deworming treatments since 2 weeks of age.
Our veterinarian recommends the third puppy Parvovirus vaccine to be 2 weeks after the 3rd one before it is fully vaccinated against parovirus.
-
We recommend calling your Veterinarian the day you bring your puppy home and give them the DOB and last vaccination date and let your Veterinarian decide when they want to see your new puppy.
-
Our poodle cross puppies are typically low shedders but are not guaranteed not to shed and are not guaranteed to be 100% hypoallergenic.
-
The frequency of hair cuts depends on the length of coat you prefer for your puppy. We highly recommend using a wire comb over a brush for home grooming. Your puppy has an under coat that will mat unless it is combed down to the skin. A wire comb does best for this practice.
-
Unless otherwise specified in the listing, the majority of our pups mature in the 12-18 pound range when fed according to Veterinary nutrition recommendations.
We cannot guarantee individual size but we can give you an estimate of your puppy’s predicated adult weight.
-
All of our puppies are socialized to older dogs and learn their boundaries rather quickly. It’s usually the older dog that takes longer to adjust to the new kid (puppy) in the house.
We do not have cats but we get frequent feedback that they adapt to each other quickly and often have a great bond.
